Now I wanna dance in a puddle of blood.
But I have none.
I use Banshee like some people probably use religion. She's the filter I get all my feelings in and out from, so to hear that she seems like a goddess to someone outside of me and my personal intense need for her is really wonderful. She's like some kind of token or amulet or my Saint of Inspiration or something. I use her to inspire myself and hope I do the same to other people along the way. So to read that she seems like a goddess - that I might have actually communicated something in a drawing that was made specifically out of a desperate need to express things - is really exciting to me.
Thanks.
Don't worry about the "Creeper" thing; I kinda felt like a creeper the moment I sent the comment. There's the common mistake of using certain words as an over-exaggeration, like for example: I see "Divine" being used to describe things like candy. It's not that candy is a bad thing, exactly, but it isn't Absolute to the point where it should be placed on a pedestal. I didn't want to make that mistake with the term "Goddess", but then thinking back on your pictures of her, little tidbits of her behavior in the story and towards the end the term just kinda stuck. You wanna say it's a Johnny/Banshee rebellion towards the comfort zone of the boring mundane or something, in something so simple as sewing clothing in a diverse fashion, but there was always something more in the facial expression or body language that I couldn't quite place until I saw this image. Or maybe you're just that good of an artist. XD
Sorry if this is a bit long. :/
